Universal Sompo General Insurance has launched Mobile Application for its PoS distribution channel to further enhance and improve penetration of its general insurance products in the country. The new PoS channel will utilize mobile based application to service new business and customers through the mobile application. Universal Sompo will be extending a set of pre-underwritten & IRDAI approved products to customers for Motor, Health and Critical illness initially.
Universal Sompo General Insurance embedded itself to book a coveted seat among major financial companies to successfully complete the CKYC Registry Process as required by Central Registry of Securitization and Asset Reconstruction and Security Interest of India (CERSAI), a company licensed under section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 and registered by the Registrar of Companies, New Delhi. With this certification, Universal Sompo General Insurance becomes compliant for securely initiating & adhering to the uniformed parameters for uploading customer KYC details in the central system, for future customer identification purposes, which obviously gives it a thrust to adopt state-of-the-art IT infrastructure.
