The company achieved maximum scores in all parameters as per the defined rules of the nominations. The parameters included, company’s bandwidth of customer service personnel, response rate, innovation in servicing customers and financial implication. The award was bestowed to Mr.Rajiv Kumar, MD & CEO, Universal Sompo General Insurance at an award ceremony held at Hotel Lalit, Mumbai.

According to a report prepared by the Insurance Brokers Association of India (IBAI), settlement efficiency is not skewed towards any particular segment of the industry. The IBAI has published a handbook measuring efficiency parameters for non-life companies as of September 2016 to enable customers to take informed decisions while choosing companies.
